Volunteering with the Helpline

The Helpline is staffed by a team of dedicated volunteers. You can become one of our volunteers, if you can commit to a minimum of one shift (3 hours) per week, for one year. Helpline shifts are either morning or afternoon, Monday to Friday. We recruit for volunteers twice a year, in Spring and Autumn. We have opportunities for Helpline Operators, Administrators and Trustees. If you are interested in volunteering with us and would like more information, please phone 0161 636 7525.

Fundraising and Marketing Group

Would you like to support our fundraising?
We raise funds to support the services that Independent Choices provides. We have organised: raffles; sponsored events; swims; runs; skydives. Also: swishing parties; theatre events; quizzes; prize donations from business. We meet for a coffee about every six weeks in central Manchester. Come along and meet others and have some fun getting involved. Contact us for details of our next meeting.

Board of Trustees

We operate with a voluntary Board of Trustees and are currently seeking new members. We meet on weeknights on a monthly basis, just outside Manchester city centre. Please contact us for further details and to receive a Trustee Information Pack.
